ESFF is always in need of good volunteer coaches to lead our young athletes. Making sure each team has a coach will always be top priority. For this reason, we have implemented a rule that no FORMER head coach may become an assistant coach on a team of a CURRENT head coach with more than 1 year of coaching experience. Our goal is to spread the experience across as many teams as possible and not pool all the experienced coaches on 1 team. Like other youth organizations across the country, our biggest need each year are filling coaching spots. 

As our league grows and more parents feel comfortable coaching, we do expect to drop this rule. We even hope to introduce team entry divisions in the coming seasons that would allow full teams to register and play against other fully constructed teams similar to "travel ball."
